Test Recommendations. Test Latest Songs. Test Next/Previous. Test song selection. Test slow network. Test offline mode. Test Premium users. Test Free users. Test rapidly switching between songs. Make sure the fixes don't break existing playback or Premium security.
Player Song State Synchronization
Make sure the selected song, title, artist, cover, playback state, and loading state always belong to the same track. Prevent stale song data from appearing during fast or slow transitions. Test tapping songs quickly, switching Next/Previous, and changing songs on slow networks.
Premium Access — Secure Verification
Review every Premium-only feature and make sure access is actually enforced server-side. Never trust only the Flutter client to decide whether someone is Premium. A slow network must not accidentally grant Free users Premium access. A failed verification should fail safely, while giving the user a clear message.
Premium Status — Slow Network Handling
Premium status currently takes too long to recognize on a slow connection. The user can get blocked while the app waits for verification. Improve the flow so a legitimate Premium user gets access as quickly as possible. Keep the security check on the backend. Do not allow Free users to bypass Premium-only features while improving the UX. Loading/verification should feel intentional instead of looking like the app is broken.
Slow Network — Wrong Cover Image While Switching Songs
When the user taps a different song on a slow network, the player currently shows the previous/first song's cover for a moment. The UI should immediately represent the song the user selected. Don't let old song data temporarily appear as if it belongs to the new song. Loading states should be handled cleanly while the new song is loading.
Recommendation / Latest Songs — Last Song Navigation
When the user reaches the last available song, pressing Next should try to find another eligible song. If another song is available from the same section/catalog, switch to it automatically. If there is truly no next song, disable/handle Next cleanly instead of doing nothing. Make sure this works for Recommended, Latest Songs, and similar song lists.
